It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia on Hulu

If you haven’t had a chance to watch this funny tv show, it’s on Hulu, free of charge. It features somewhat edgy humor, kind of like Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm, about morons being…assholes. But…it’s a little more tongue-in-cheek than say, The Office, which could also be described as a show about morons, but is also a bit more surreal. Well, more surreal in the sense that Steve Carell’s character is almost absurdly moronic, almost attaining mid-era Homer Simpson status. Which is funny of course. Whereas the characters in Philadelphia are still plausibly moronic, or rather, more psychologically moronic, allowing the show to still work as a sarcastic parody/commentary on such people/society in real life. For me, that makes the Office a bit more blunt and Philadelphia, a bit more sharp, but I do enjoy both.

Anyway if you’re an all around nice person who thinks everyone is fuzzy wuzzy, this show probably isn’t for you. Just giving fair warning. Aw damn, in fact, since it’s for mature audiences, it looks like they require a login to “prove” you’re not some kid who can’t figure out how to lie about his age. Usually Hulu content is free to view by all. But seriously, I think it’s one of the better TV shows out right now.

Season 2, Ep 8. I haven’t seen this one, but it looks election day oriented. Could fit the times.
Nm, just watched some of it. It’s pretty awesome.

Season 2, Ep 6 This one features sexism, racism, gambling, and alcoholism. I’m not selling this show very well, am I?

“No shit? I was so close…”

I just watched the running for office one today. Pretty awesome. I’m pretty behind on tv, too. Too many things to watch.
